Apply for a City of Irving Garage Sale Permit. 

Garage Sale Permits

In accordance with city ordinances, garage sales are limited to:

* Two per calendar year per residential address. Three (3) or more garage sales per year is a violation of Irving City Ordinance.

* Maximum three (3) consecutive days in duration.

* Multifamily complexes are limited to two per year and management must apply for the permit.

* Signs may not be placed on telephone poles, street signs, trees, or placed in center medians.

* Signs may be placed in the right-of-way by the street only between 12:01 am Thursday and 12:01 am Monday.

* Signs may only be placed up on private property, not in the right-of-way, for sales Tuesday through Thursday.

* Signs must be picked up at end of sale.

* Cancellations must be submitted prior to 8 a.m. the first day of sale. Complete form again and select "cancel" under Type of Request.
